Brendan is the Strategic Partner of Values-Based Banking at the Assiniboine Credit Union. As a member of the Executive Team, he works with leaders to integrate and embed the principles and practices of values-based banking into ACU’s policies, strategic goals and targets, culture, core functions and daily work. In this role, Brendan builds on previous experience with the Canadian Community Economic Development Network, the Social Enterprise Council of Canada, an owner / manager of a small retail business in rural Manitoba, and with ACU’s Board of Directors. He also draws on life experience growing up as a kid in Paraguay in the heart of South America, as a teen and young adult in rural southeastern Manitoba, and more recently in Winnipeg. Brendan is a passionate educator and organizer dedicated to creating inclusive, fairer, and more sustainable economies and communities.
