Eddie Buli is an Indigenous person of mixed heritages from a cane farm outside of Gordonvale, Far North Queensland. Eddie is the Business and Education Development Officer with the Indigenous Consumer Assistance Network (ICAN), and developer/facilitator of the Yarnin’ Money financial literacy program. Eddie has a Bachelor of Applied Health Science (Indigenous Primary Health Care), a Diploma of Community Services (Financial Counselling), and has over 20 years’ experience working in non-government organizations and government departments involved with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in Far North Queensland, Cape York Peninsula and the Torres Strait Islands. Eddie brings ICAN his extensive knowledge and experience, drawing upon relationships and partnerships that promote respect and understanding of regional issues for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
